Refund policy

We have a 14-day return policy, which means you have 14 days after receiving your item to request a return.

To be eligible for a return, your item must not be a custom order (see below), must be in the same condition that you received it, unworn or unused, with tags, and in its original packaging. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase. 

To start a return, you can contact us at contact@foxofstaveline.com. Please note that returns will need to be sent to the following address: [DISCLOSED UPON CONTACT].

If your return is accepted, we’ll send you a return address, as well as instructions on how and where to send your package. Items sent back to us without first requesting a return will not be accepted.

Damages and issues
Please inspect your order upon reception and contact us immediately if the item is defective, damaged or if you receive the wrong item, so that we can evaluate the issue and make it right.


Exceptions / non-returnable items
Custom products (such as special orders or personalized items) cannot be returned or refunded. Please get in touch if you have questions or concerns about your specific item. 

Unfortunately, we cannot accept returns on sale items or gift cards.


Exchanges
The fastest way to ensure you get what you want is to return the item you have, and once the return is accepted, make a separate purchase for the new item.


European Union 14 day cooling off period
Notwithstanding the above, if the merchandise is being shipped into the European Union, you have the right to cancel or return your order within 14 days, for any reason and without a justification. As above, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unworn or unused, with tags, and in its original packaging. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase.


Refunds
We will notify you once we’ve received and inspected your return, and let you know if the refund was approved or not. If approved, you’ll be automatically refunded on your original payment method within 10 business days. Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund too.

Custom Order Policy

Custom handbags are made specifically to your chosen design options. Please read the following terms carefully before submitting a request.

Placing a Custom Order
All custom orders must be submitted through the Custom Order Form on the website. The form should include clear and accurate details of the handbag you would like made.

Communication
All communication regarding custom orders is carried out via email. You must provide a valid email address that staff at Fox of St. Aveline Ltd can contact you on. It is your responsibility to ensure the email address is correct and monitored so that any questions or confirmations about your order can be addressed promptly.

Fox of St. Aveline Ltd reserves the right to nullify any custom order in the event that you do not provide correspondence for a period of 14 days. If, when placing an order, you anticipate an inability to communicate with Fox of St. Aveline Ltd up to 30 days after enquiring, please include this in your communications so that accommodations may be made. 

Order Details
Customers are responsible for providing clear instructions and specifications for their custom handbag. If details are unclear or incomplete, staff at Fox of St. Aveline Ltd may contact you for clarification before proceeding. Work will only begin once the order details have been agreed.

Payment
Full payment must be made before the item is dispatched. Orders will not be posted until payment has been received.

Returns and Refunds
Custom handbags are made to the customer’s specifications and are therefore non-refundable and non-returnable. The standard 14-day return and refund period does not apply to custom orders.

Right to Decline
Fox of St. Aveline Ltd reserves the right to decline or cancel a custom order request if the design requested cannot reasonably be produced or if the requirements are not clearly defined.

 

Handmade Item Disclaimer

All handbags sold through this store are handmade, including both ready-made (sold as seen) items and custom orders. Because each piece is individually crafted, slight variations may occur.

Natural Variations
Small variations in colour, texture, grain, stitching, and overall appearance are normal characteristics of handmade products and natural materials. These variations are not considered defects and contribute to the uniqueness of each item.

Product Images (Sold as Seen Items)
For ready-made items, product photos are intended to represent the item as accurately as possible. However, colours and appearance may vary slightly depending on lighting, photography, and individual screen or monitor settings.

Custom Orders
For custom handbags, the final product will be created based on the specifications and instructions provided. While every effort will be made to follow the agreed design, small variations may occur due to the handmade nature of the item and the materials used.

Uniqueness of Handmade Goods
By purchasing either a ready-made item or placing a custom order, you acknowledge that handmade items cannot be perfectly identical and that minor variations are a normal and expected part of the handmade process.
